Artbo 2013, Bogota’s international art fair, is an important event that brings together national and international galleries in order to provide a unique platform for the country to showcase the work of established and emerging artists and is expected to attract lots of visitors.
The ninth version of ArtBo, International Art Fair of Bogota, will be held from 25 to 28 October 2013 at over 13,000 sqm in Corferias. Thanks to the continued participation of national and international galleries and the promotion of young talent through Artecámara, the event’s significance for the visual arts in Colombia, has become a meeting point for excellence and unmissable for the art market.
This year, ArtBo continue to disseminate balanced choices between the best proposals of national and international art, keeping the median size of the Fair that guarantees its high quality and makes an entertaining tour of the galleries. ArtBo will again be curated with the following sections: individual projects, outstanding contemporary artists selected by José Roca, and in the Artecámara Pavilion one can see a selection of the most promising young colombian artists .
Other venues include the Academic Forum for conferences and presentations, Cultural Hall Meeting for institutions and publications, and the Children’s Pavilion, to bring and sensitize children and youth with art.
Also during October, ArtBo will hold several institutional partnerships with the vibrant creative scene in Bogota.
